It was a rare treat for us this year. Scott had Memorial Day off so we were able to go to Utah and be a part of the festivities held in Bluffdale. What a neat experience. Every year the Legion puts on a program at the Bluffdale Cemetary. It brought tears to my eyes watching the Veterans march in carrying the flag.
Scott's dad was a member of the Air Force and the Guard for over 35 years. He served his country proudly and we are very thankful for him and his example. Ryan's dream is to follow in his grandpa's footsteps and join the military.
The names were read of all of the Veterans buried in the Bluffdale Cemetary.
We ended the day with a trip to the Lehi Cemetary to visit Jenni and her sweet baby Broden. It was a very nice day, one I hope we can repeat again sometime.
