I can't believe Gage is 5! He picked out his own clothes for his party! We're going to have to work on that but he was so excited I didn't have the heart to have him change! This year we decided to have a car theme for his party. We are trying to cut back so we can go to Disneyland next year and what is more cheap than free boxes from the grocery store for box cars! Here Gage is in front of his used car lot!
The kids were going to each have to buy their "used car" but unfortunately for them they didn't include any tires, lights or a steering wheel. Gage being the great "used car" salesman that he is offered an accessory kit!
Gage was excited for his car cake. Thanks to Kelly's sense of humor, it was a real Wyoming road, road kill and all!

When the kids first arrived the first item of business was to have them pass the driving test to earn their driver's licenses. We went through a driver's safety course. They all passed with flying colors!
The birthday boy was the first to get his license. Watch out WHP Gage is on the road!
Next they bought their cars and began to build them with their accessory kits! Who knew we had so many mechanics in the valley!
After everyone had their cars built. They went to the drive in and got their dinner to go and headed to the drive in movie theater!
The movie of choice was "The Littles". Back when I was young there was a cartoon series that was based on a series of books. I found the cartoons on disc and we've been hooked ever since!
After the movie he opened his presents! Thanks everyone for the fun gifts!
Finally it was time to blow out the candles on his cake! He made sure to take a breath for each and every one!
