Christmas Day!

So Christmas morning came bright and early at our house! The kids were so excited when they woke up and saw this beautiful treasure chest. It had a lock on it and a clue that went with it. The clue led them to another clue and then another until they had the four numbers that would unlock the treasure! My dad spent all Christmas Eve finishing this wonderful gift for the grandkids! The chest was filled with coins! Each of the kids got to count out enough quarters to give them $10.00. They were in heaven and started planning right away what they would do with their money!
Nate loved the chest so much he decided to become part of the treasure. Aren't we so lucky to have him!!
This is the aftermath of opening the presents. It went so quick we didn't have time to get any pics! Scott had to work that morning but the kids were up and so excited that he got to see them before he headed out!

Last Christmas Nate was only 5 months old so this was like his first Christmas! He loved tearing into the presents even if they weren't his! I think this shirt says it all!
Santa brought Ryan a new bike. It is a trick bike that he is so excited to try out once the snow melts!
Our little animal lover, Jaydee just wanted forest animals for Christmas. Santa brought her a large stuffed deer to add to her collection!
On the other end of the spectrum there is Gage is can't wait to become a hunter like his dad! He got a gun/bow&arrow set from Santa. We had to make the rule, No Hunting in Jaydee's room or you'll be arrested! (Can't tell they have a cop for a dad, can you!)
Finally, Nate got a large stuffed dalmatian for the Firefighter room! It's as big as he is and he's not quite sure what to think about it yet! Maybe in time he'll like it
The magic of Christmas was here again! May it continue for many years to come!
