This weekend we made an escape and went to Bear Lake. We had great weather and great company! We were joined by my sis, Haley, and our friends Nate, Dakota, Sequoya, and Theoryn. We put 11 of us in the trailer! It is a good thing the kids get along so well together. We played at the beach, built sand castles, roasted hot dogs, made smores, and just enjoyed the outdoors. We even had a few wild visitors. A skunk visited us during the night and scared me while I was up feeding the baby. Scott ended up scaring it when he opened the door and it left a nice stinky gift on Nate's flipflop! We also had an old, wise owl residing in a tree in our campground. Although I don't know how wise his really was with all of the crazy kids we had running around he couldn't have gotten much sleep during the day! We hope to make this a yearly tradition and hope you all will join us next fall!
