Summer Fun-Dinosaur Day

This summer my mom and I decided to do "Summer School" with the kids! We are planning on opening a preschool next year and are trying things out! My mom was a kindergarten teacher forever and this has been so fun for her to go back and do the things she use to do for her students! It has been fun for me to see her in "action" and for my kids to have such an awesome Grandma! We FINALLY have good weather and were able to do dinosaur day! We first read books about dinosaurs.Next we boarded the airplane - destination - Dinosaur Land!
We found our dig site!
Jaydee was the first to go in to dig for a bone!
Gage carefully cleaned his bone off with the brush.
After the bones were clean we measured each bone. This taught us one on one counting. Great for the preschoolers!
After all the bones were found we started putting our dinosaur together!
We're all most most finished!
All done! We found a Long neck!
Next we found a nest with dinosaur eggs. Ryan's was a baby T-Rex!
Gage got brave and looked for his egg!
Jaydee was the last to go and found a nice egg as well!
Everyone found a Dinosaur Egg!
Oh no the volcano erupted! Hurry back to the airplane!
We had a very successful dinosaur day! Thanks Grandma for all the fun! Also thanks to our friends Kolten, Kaylee, Mackenzie, Gavin, and Trey for coming with us. Trips are always more fun with great friends!

Thanks to both you and your mom for a great day!! The kids had a blast. The bad part is that only now they want to head up to OUR bone pile and collect some bones of their own to create a dinosaur!! (not going to happen:)
